Innis College offers students two dedicated health and wellness-focused staff members, plus a Master of Social Work intern, who you can connect with in private, one-to-one settings.
Daina Zweig
Assistant Dean – Community Wellness
Daina can help you better understand and access the University’s many wellness resources. Think of Daina as a supportive first stop when you have questions.
Alex Boross-Harmer
Master of Social Work intern
Like Daina, Alex can meet with you in a one-to-one setting to help you navigate the range of wellness supports on and off campus.
Tracey Doyle
Health & Wellness Counsellor
Tracey can help you with many mental health issues, including:
- Relationship or interpersonal problems
- Self-esteem or body image concerns
- Depression, anxiety, panic attacks
- Academic and school pressures

U of T’s Telus Health Student Support (THSS) program gives you immediate and/or ongoing confidential, 24/7 support for any school, health, or general life concern. This is a free service.
There are two ways you can get help:
Phone – Within North America call 1-844-451-9700. Ongoing support is available over the phone in 146 languages. Immediate support is available over the phone in 35 languages.
Online Chat – To chat, download the THSS app: Apple App Store | Google Play. Support is available in simplified Chinese, English, French and Spanish.
GET URGENT HELP. CALL 911 if you are at immediate risk.

Tracey Doyle, Innis’s health and wellness counsellor, is dedicated to counselling students with a wide range of mental health concerns. To book an appointment online or in-person (when available):
- Call the Health & Wellness Centre directly at 416-978-8030 and request an appointment with Tracey. Mention that you are a student at Innis College.
- If you need help with booking, email Daina Zweig, our assistant dean — community wellness, within the Office of Student Life.
